A Unique Perspective
What sets our approach apart is the combination of disciplines brought to every project. With a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, and a Master of Business Administration, Michelle brings a broad understanding of both design and project execution. Prior to founding the firm, Michelle served as a Civil Engineer for the United States Air Force and later as a Construction Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.Those experiences provided invaluable insight into how successful projects are planned, coordinated, managed, and built. Today, that knowledge is applied to every project, helping clients make informed decisions while creating spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. Our multidisciplinary background allows us to approach projects from both a design and execution perspective. We don't just help clients see the design. We help ensure the design can be successfully executed.
My Journey
My path to interior design has never followed a traditional route. I began my career in engineering and construction, serving as a Civil Engineer for the U.S. Air Force and later as a Construction Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Those experiences taught me how complex projects are planned, coordinated, and successfully executed. While I enjoyed the technical side of the industry, I found myself increasingly drawn to the creative aspects of the built environment. I became fascinated by how thoughtful design impacts the way people live, work, gather, and experience a space. That passion led me to pursue a degree in Interior Design, allowing me to combine the technical knowledge I had gained through engineering and construction with my love of creating beautiful, functional environments. Today, my work brings together the best of both worlds. I approach every project through the lens of a designer, but with a deep understanding of construction, project coordination, and real-world execution.
